Innovative Leadership On Our Court
Judge Carla Brown has served on the Gwinnett State Court bench since 2003. She was originally appointed to the position by Gov. Sonny Perdue and has been re-elected three times.
Judge Brown is working with fellow judges to establish a State Court program for veterans. Judge Brown believes cases should be reached quickly and efficiently for the benefit of all parties involved. Her court keeps one of the lowest pending case counts in metro Atlanta.
"During my campaign I have received a number of endorsements from various groups across the political spectrum. These endorsements should not be taken as a comment on my personal Christian religious beliefs. I have never as a judge committed to political positions or backed or opposed legislation other than bills directly related to the administration of our courts.”
“Everyone who appears before the State Court of Gwinnett Count is entitled to have their case heard by a fair and impartial judge committed to equal justice under the law. I strive daily to meet this standard and to ensure that everyone who comes before me is treated with dignity and respect.”
